Winter Wonders 2025: festive Brussels nights with The Scott as your stylish hideaway
From 28 November 2025 to 1 January 2026, Winter Wonders (Plaisirs d’Hiver / Winterpret) turns Brussels into a festive stage of lights and creativity, with around 238 Christmas chalets connecting Grand-Place, Sainte-Catherine, the Vismet, De Brouckère, Bourse and Place de la Monnaie. Millions of visitors come to taste Belgian specialities, discover local crafts and enjoy concerts, rides and performances throughout the end-of-year season.
The 2025 edition celebrates solidarity. The Grand-Place “solidarity tree” will have its decorations auctioned after the holidays, raising funds for food banks, while Place Poelaert welcomes a new mini Christmas village with panoramic views, gourmet treats and a toy collection point for sick or disadvantaged children. An official interactive map guides you through the different zones and helps you plan your evening route.
At Sainte-Catherine and the Vismet, wooden chalets, the Ferris wheel and light installations create a cinematic backdrop that feels straight out of a story. On Place De Brouckère, the ice rink and curling tracks invite you to glide under the open sky, with some attractions open until 4 January 2026.
